Description
The Westgate decorative style vacancy sensors are used to automatically turn lights off after a person leaves an area. Title 24 approved sensors must have manual on with motion sensor controlled off when room is vacant. These sensors are ideal for use in bathrooms, garages, laundry or utility rooms to save energy and extend lamp life. Commercial decorative style sensors function as an occupancy or vacancy sensor with a simple flip of the switch. Manual-on motion controlled off. Replaces standard single pole or 3-way switch. Adjustable time delay from 1 minute to 30 minutes. Works with all type loads incandescent, fluorescent, low voltage, electronic or magnetic and bathroom fans. Neutral required.

Ordered switch and received first box with missing parts and poor instructions. Sent for a replacement and the 2nd box had more missing pieces and no instructions. I installed the unit as described and it did not work. I tried the 2nd unit and it also did not work. I even wired as a single pole instead of a 3 way switch and it still would not work. I went to the hardware store and bought a different unit and it worked the first time right our of the box. I would not recommend purchasing this unit. Another complication is that is comes with 5 wires when a standard 3 way switch comes with 3 wires and a ground. This makes the wiring even more complicated than a standard installation.
