Worked great on a 2012 Ram pickup.If you have never replaced one of these, they are self adjusting. I didnt know this and thought I had the incorrect part at first due to the length if the plunger being so long. To install:1. Remove the old (1/8 turn counter clockwise)2. Remove plug3. Install plug on new switch4. Depress and hold the brake pedal so you gain clearance for the extra long plunger5. Install the new switch, locking in place with a clockwise 1/8 turn6. Release the brake. The pressure in the system will return the pedal and seat the plunger to the correct "idle" depth
